SafireCMS
SafireCMS is a managed content management system used to design and build a web site. Our interface allows you to manage a dynamic collection of HTML documents, images and other forms of media quickly and easily. SafireCMS facilitates document control, auditing, editing, and storage, while allowing designers full access to customize your sites look and feel with templates and CSS.

Welcome!

This site was built using SafireCMS. As you can see it looks a lot like our site, and it should since it uses the same template as ours. We have modified the header image and made the navigation specific to SafireCMS, but otherwise it's identical. SafireCMS is a hosted, managed content management system. In other words, you can move right in without installing any software or dealing with scripts. More importantly as SafireCMS improves with more functionality...you benefit at no additional charge!

We Love Editors

What's nice about SafireCMS is that we can have other editors manage the content of the site by using a browser rather than FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Contribute and others HTML editors. This means there is no software to buy or install. No need to worry about what operating system to use or if an editor working off of an old set of files. All edits are made live on the site as you have them.

We Love Designers

Any custom designed template a designer creates can be used as a template. Multiple templates can be used for a custom look for any page or group of pages (section) you like. No more nightmares of having to deal with Joomla or Drupal. Your template is easy to edit and access in a browser. No FTP required!

We Love Smart Tags!

We use Smart Tags to represent functions eliminating the need to program functions or know scripting languages.

The Smart Tags shown here...

...produce the functions you see here...

We Love Stylesheets

If you're not excited about stylesheets, that's ok. But what it means is that your HTML editor uses the styles that you have defined in a .CSS file. Paragraph tags, heading tags, and how they were defined by your designer, is just what you will see when a page is edited. Don't worry, if you don't get it your designer will...and if they don't get a new designer. What it really means is that you can change a header once and the change impacts the entire site. No need to edit every page!
